On Monday, Sept.16, we will be meeting with teachers from South Sudan, Uganda, and Ethiopia for a 4 week training session to enable our S.Sudanese teachers to train their colleagues on a national level.
We are so excited to see all our Sudanese teachers again and look forward to having a great time of professional learning and teaching.
The training will take place in Assella, Ethiopia where we will be hosted by Christian Horizons Global in their wonderful facilities.
Jake and I and Ike and Jennie have been very busy preparing, planning, and photocopying materials! We are praying for our teaching to be a blessing for the teachers, students, and country of South Sudan!

I have no idea if my post went and so I will try again and hope that this works. Obviously the last post went nowhere as I did not shown in. Anyway, slow down, you two, have a glass of wine, sit and reflect on what needs to be done and not all the possibilities and grandiose planning that might never happen because of lack of time. Praying for you both and remember that The Lord goes before you and is preparing the way and the hearts and minds of all who will attend. So looking forward to your stories.

ReplyDeleteI have shared your blog with one of my coworkers who spent 6 weeks in Ethiopia this past summer with her little son and husband. She was excited to see and hear all about Ethiopia again. She has a wonderful little 6 yr old who was born in Ethiopia! so they went to see his birth mom and the rest of his siblings.
